UPNRI Forum Kuwait Conducts Successful Free Health Camp at ICSK Junior, Kuwait

image 1 11zonUPNRI Forum Kuwait, in collaboration with the Forum of Indian Doctors (FID), organized a highly successful Free Health Check-Up Camp on 21 November 2025 at ICSK Junior, Salmiya, benefiting more than 500 people with free medical consultations and screenings.

The camp was inaugurated by H.E. Ms. Paramita Tripathi, Indian Ambassador to Kuwait, who praised the Forum’s continued commitment to community health. The event was led by President Zeeshan Ullah Khan and General Secretary Shafaq Mumtaz, supported by Office Bearers and Executive Members.

UPNRI Forum Kuwait also acknowledged the generous support and cooperation of the ICSK Management, whose venue and facilities played a crucial role in the smooth execution of the event.

59 Doctors, 12 Dentist, 23 Nurses,  from FID, IDAK, Kuwait Heart Foundation, Tamil Nadu Nurses Forum and  English Optics provided services in general medicine, cardiology, dentistry, ophthalmology, oncology, orthopedics, and preventive care.

The screenings revealed several new medical findings, including severely high blood pressure cases (>180/100), high blood sugar, high cholesterol, cardiac conduction abnormalities (LBBB, RBBB), gallbladder stones, uterine fibroids, hydronephrosis, bladder stones, PCOD, DUB, tennis elbow, presbyopia, refractive errors, multiple dermatological issues, and suspicious results from breast-screening of 37 women who were referred for further investigation. More than 85 ultrasound scans, 100+ cholesterol tests, multiple ECGs and 2D echo evaluations (for the first time in a UPNRI camp) were conducted, along with initial mental health counselling sessions, also introduced for the first time.

Over  125 volunteers, including UPNRI members, students, and youth volunteers, ensured smooth coordination throughout the event.
