Global Kerala Pravasi Association (GKPA) Kuwait Chapter Announces 2026 Action Plan: Holds Joint gathering of Area Committees and Volunteers;
The Global Kerala Pravasi Association (GKPA) – Kuwait Chapter organized a combined meeting of all area committees and volunteer teams as part of its plan to initiate multiple expatriate community–oriented activities throughout 2026. The meeting witnessed the full attendance of area committee members, ex-officio members, and active volunteers from various regions of Kuwait.
The session was chaired by GKPA Kuwait Chapter President Mr. Justin P. Jose. Mr. Binu Yohannan delivered the welcome address, setting the tone for the discussions.
A detailed keynote address was presented by founder member and former Global Chairman Mr. Mubarack Kambrath, who elaborated on the vision, objectives, and ongoing mission of GKPA.
Ms. Ambili Narayan (Chairperson of the Women’s Wing) explained the various Pravasi welfare activities carried out by the GKPA State Committee in Kerala.
The meeting also featured felicitation speeches from several dignitaries, including Mujeeb KT, Ashraf Choroot, Anil Anand (Ex-Treasurer), Sreekumar (Ex-General Secretary), Rasiyath Beevi (Women Wing Secretary), Tessy Benny (GKPA Idukki District Patron), Menish Vas & Sajini Wayanad (Salmiya Area), Mathew John, Lalitha Kozhikode, Ullas Udayabanu (Abbasiya Area), Anish Abdul Majeed, Sajini Biju (Kaithan Area), Jaleel Kottayam & Girija Omanakkuttan (Hawally Area), Preetha Thiruvananthapuram (Mangaf Area), Jyothi Parvathy, Sulaika, Asma (Abuhalifa Area), Sabeena Kollam, and Mohanan Ambadi.
The meeting concluded with a collective decision to reunite on December 12 for the GKPA’s ongoing social commitment program — the distribution of blankets and winter jackets to labourers in Kabd as part of its humanitarian outreach.
