Al Ansari exchange –BDK Kuwait Chapter Organise Blood Donation Camp in Connection with Republic Day and Gandhi Martyrs’ Day.
As part of the Indian Republic Day celebrations and in remembrance of the Martyrs’ Day of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, Al Ansari Exchange, in association with Blood Donors Kerala (BDK) – Kuwait Chapter, successfully organised a joint blood donation camp on 30 January 2026 at the Adan Blood Transfusion Centre, Kuwait.
The camp, which commenced at 9:00 a.m., witnessed the participation of around 100 blood donors.
A majority of the donors were employees of Al Ansari Exchange, reflecting their strong sense of social responsibility and commitment to humanitarian values.
The formal inauguration of the blood donation camp was carried out by Mr.Harit Ketan Shelat, Second Secretary at the Embassy of India in Kuwait. Speaking on the occasion, he highlighted the significance of organising such humanitarian activities on a day that commemorates Mahatma Gandhi’s ideals of non-violence, service, and sacrifice, and noted the powerful message it conveys to society.
