Highlighting the Timeless Relevance of the Prophet’s ﷺ Life for Society and the Next Generation
Indian Muslim Association (IMA) Kuwait, under the distinguished patronage of the Ministry of Awqaf & Islamic Affairs – Foreign Relations Department, successfully concluded its 10-Day Seerah Campaign with two Jalsa-e-Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ Gatherings held simultaneously on Thursday, 27 August 2026, at Maryam Masjid, Mahboula, and Masjid Adsani, Maliya, Kuwait City.
The concluding Programs brought together Community Members, Families and Youth in large numbers to reflect on the Life, Character and Teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, focusing on two significant Themes: “Building a Better Society Through the Teachings of the Seerah” and “Raising the Next Generation Through the Seerah.”
Building a Better Society Through the Teachings of the Seerah
The Topic was addressed by Renowned Islamic Scholars & Khateeb Moulana Sifat Alam at Maliya and Moulana Irfan Nadwi at Mahboula.
The Speakers highlighted that meaningful Societal Reform begins with strengthening Faith & Tawheed, establishing a sincere connection with Salah, following the Qur’an & authentic Sunnah, and developing the Noble Character & Manners exemplified by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
The discussions emphasized the importance of Unity, Brotherhood & Social Responsibility, encouraging Individuals to contribute actively towards the Moral & Spiritual betterment of their Families & Communities. The Masjid was highlighted as not only a place of Worship but also a Centre for Learning, Guidance & Constructive Social Reform.
The Speakers also underlined the responsibility of Muslims towards Dawah, Enjoining Good & Discouraging Wrong with wisdom, stressing that reform is a collective responsibility and that neglecting it has serious consequences.
The overall Message was that a better Society is built when Faith & Prophetic Values are translated into everyday Character, Conduct and Responsible Community Participation.
Raising the Next Generation Through the Seerah
The Topic was addressed by Renowned Islamic Scholars & Khateeb Moulana Umar Falahi at Maliya and Moulana Waleed Umri at Mahboula.
The Theme focused on the vital Responsibility of nurturing a Generation that combines Faith, Knowledge, Character, Wisdom and Purposeful Action.
The Speakers presented the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as the finest Model for developing Young People. While modern Education & Technology offer immense Opportunities, they alone cannot create a strong Generation without Sound Character and Faith. The Challenges confronting today's Youth, including Excessive Social-Media dependence, loss of Purpose & Moral distractions, make the Prophetic model particularly relevant.
Their discussions highlighted how the Prophet ﷺ recognized the abilities of Young People, entrusted them with Responsibility and developed their Potential. The examples of Abdullah ibn Abbas (RA), Aisha (RA), Muadh ibn Jabal (RA), Usama ibn Zaid (RA) and Ali (RA) demonstrated how Knowledge, Talent, Courage & Leadership can flourish when young people are given Trust, Guidance and Meaningful Responsibilities.
The Speakers also emphasized the crucial role of Parents and the home as the first school of Character. Children learn more from the Example & Conduct of their Parents than from Words alone. Education, therefore, must develop both Knowledge & Character, while Young People should be guided to use Technology wisely & channel their abilities towards Meaningful Purposes and the Benefit of Humanity & the Ummah.
Both Programs provided a fitting conclusion to IMA Kuwait’s 10-Day Seerah Campaign, which sought to reconnect the Community with the Life, Character & Mission of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and encourage the Practical Application of its Timeless Guidance.
The Events brought together a powerful message: Building better Individuals & Society today, while nurturing a Morally Strong & Purposeful Generation for tomorrow. The Campaign reinforced that the Seerah is not merely a Historical Account, but a Living Source of Guidance for Personal Character, Family Life, Community Development & Responsible Living.
Students from IMA Summer Islamic Classes presented a beautiful Islamic nasheed at the Masjid Adsani program. Their melodious and heartfelt performance mesmerized the audience and added a spiritually uplifting atmosphere to the occasion.
The concluding Programs witnessed enthusiastic Participation from Community Members, Families and Youth. Separate arrangements were also made for Ladies, and the Gatherings concluded with Dinner Packets served, providing an opportunity for Fellowship and strengthening Community bonds.
