I am emphasizing on following many qualities in life like respecting and doing goods to parents, being amiable and kind towards children while growing them with traditional and moral values, encouragements to new talents, help the needy people, we dare for care, and keep the relationships active etc.”
Mr.Ashfaque Ahmed Khan, President of Indian Cultural society says. He belongs to orange city Nagpur. He is the fourth sibling among the eight children of his late parents.
His eldest brother Mr. Manzoor A Khan is working in the ministry of textiles as Assit. Director in Bombay, the second brother Mr. Maqbool A Khan is working as a Senior Auditor in the Defense of Account, third brother Mr. Akhlaq Khan who is in Gulf since 2000 in the position of Senior Auditor at renowned food chain and the remaining four sisters are married and well settled in India with their husbands & children.
His mother was a house wife & father was a Mines Eng. who retired later as Mines Manager at Manganese Ore India Ltd.
He had undergone higher education in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Khan is a Science graduate as well as Diploma holder in Pharmacy, post graduate diploma in Marketing & Sales, started his career as a Medical Delegate in BDH Pharma (E.Merck Germany), India. He was the Regional Manager of the same Co. until he resigned in 1995 to join MOH, Kuwait in pharmacy department.
Ashfaq Ahmed Khan's wife Mrs. Shagufta Khan, Bsc & MBA, who is also an active member of ICS is presently working as a senior teacher at Delhi Public School (DPS) in Ahmadi, Kuwait. She is the strength and support behind all his active efforts on arranging and presenting many wonderful stage shows to the community of Kuwait.
This small family is blessed with two cute children of which one is a girl who is none other than the upcoming singer and regular performer in all the stage shows of ICS, Miss Safa Khan, is a ninth standard student at DPS, Ahmadi. Her brother and the younger one of this family is Master Arshaq Khan who is also a student at DPS in 3rd standard.
He has been strict in following five principles of Islam including Hajj that he performed a few years ago. He together with his family used to travel to Saudi Arabia every year for performing Umrah.
Ashfaque has attended many pharmaceutical conference & relevant workshop worldwide. He wrote many articles in news papers & magazines.
Apart from his regular duty he has been dedicating his free time to be with his passion for arts & literature. He has been the anchor of all the events conducted by ICS in Kuwait since its beginning. He has completed more than 150 stage shows as an anchor & organizer. He also worked for All India Radio (Aakashwani) & IPTA.
Ashfaque is a founder member of ICS. Indian cultural society is not the organization of any region or religion but the organization of different people from different parts of India who love music, arts & literature and who are passionate towards those. This organization is lead by many talented personalities from different parts of India.
His mission is on bringing all Indians together under a banner where people will not have even a micro feeling of being from south or north. And work for social, welfare & noble cause too. ICS is a non political non profitable & non commercial wing of professionals. It is registered in the record of Embassy of India Kuwait.
There is no membership fee to join ICS, all registration under database only. ICS reached to the levels that were we can proudly say, ICS is the brand for the quality entertainment programs & branding the best of the best artists from Indian sub continent”.

In order to accomplish this, we brought the great actor Kader Khan, a film director & script writer in Indian cinema. We brought 'Maine Pyar Kiya' fame actress Baghyashree on stage to perform drama together with actor Akshay Anand.
After the successful and well accepted first theatrical experience, we arranged the monologue with the great actor Padmasree Tom Alter in 'Jalsa Junoon ka' was very wonderful & we gave a tribute to Indian freedom fighter Sayyed Moulana Abul Kalam Azad.
The second session was for poetry in Hindi & Urdu Mushaira portion is telecasted on ETV Urdu internationally on 23rd & 24th Nov 2013 & 15th Jan 2014. Similarly “Rishton Ka Live Telecast” with actress Himani Shivpuri & actor Aanjan Srivastav as well “Kaifi Aur Main” with legendary Javed Akhtar & Shabana Azmi.
Beside that we organize high voltage musical concert with top most playback singers & music directors from Indian Cinema.
ICS is the one and only organization in Kuwait to host most of the well known playback singers, stand up comedians, directors, Ghazal maestros, Poets, writers, Music Directors, composers, actors & actress of India and Pakistan together on a stage among are Daler Mehndi, Alka Yagnik, Hema Sardesi, Shibani Kashyap, Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, Kavita K Murti, Shreya Ghoshal, Omar Shariff, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Talat Aziz, Javed Ali, Bappi Lahiri, Akrit Kakkar, Raju Srivastav, Suchitra, Vinod Rathod, Chetan Rana , Munawwar Masoom, Rajeev Nigam, Jaswinder Singh, Raveena Tandon, Ramesh Talwar, Haricharan, Sivamani & artist management with Mahesh Bhatt, Mikka Singh, Sunil Shetty etc.
Kuwait media especially newspapers, television channels and web portals are in the forefront of our programs to promote art and culture. ICS team is always thankful to Indian frontliners team & www.indianfrontliners.com for promoting our activities in all aspects.
These kind of media are the main social workers and we are nothing compared to their dedicated service. They keep the people alive and energetic with the updated news, events, classifieds and what’s on. Their contributions to the society should be highly appreciated and should be rewarded.
ICS is involve in many unseen charitable activities which is never ever published .Our intention is to see that the charity is done and people are getting its benefits like 'Maa Hospital' Karachi, Saint John Ambulance Mumbai, School Carnival Kuwait, Fazlani Foundation Maharashtra, orphanages in (Mangalore, Nagpur, Raipur , Pune & Indore) etc. We had medical camps & health assistance, free cloths, food, stationary distribution to slum areas, helping funds for J & K too.
We also extend our support to many associations in active & passive form. We have regular free informative email circulation for community benefits “Help Desk for Job” & “Timely Tips”.
Ashfaque has met & shares his mission with top most personalities of India like Amitabh Bachchan, Payare Lal ( LP group), Sri Subrato Roy Sahara, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Salim Suleiman, Madhuri Dixit, Lalit Pandit etc.
