Najeeb Ahmed who has a hobby of writing letters to leaders of all over the world. Since his childhood from the age of 9, Najeeb developed a passion of communicating with world leaders. He has a personal collection of more than 1500 letters from various head of the states, Prime Ministers and other top dignitaries of all over the world. Starting from 1987, his letter writing hobby spanning 25 years include notable personalities from India, UK, Canada, France, Australia, Srilanka, USA, and covering all continents.

Najeeb writes to them on various subjects such as congratulatory message, social, human rights issues besides collecting their signed pictures for his personal collection. Letters from all Indian Prime Ministers and Presidents starting from 1987 till date are decorating the letter castle of Najeeb.

Najeeb has created an identity for himself and as student with out any political or social affiliations; he was successful in getting a personal audience with many leaders of India including former President Shri. R. Venkataraman, former Prime Ministers Shri. V.P Singh, Shri. P.V. Narasimha Rao, Shri. H.D Deve Gowda, Shri. I.K Gujral, Congress President Smt. Sonia Gandhi, Governors / Chief Ministers of his state Tamil Nadu. All leaders across political spectrum have indeed appreciated Najeeb for his efforts in establishing contacts with world leaders.

Currently at the age 34, he still continue writing to world leaders on vide variety of subjects that are of interest to him. It is worth mentioning here that many Indian Newspapers have published articles on his hobby. Star News-NDTV had telecasted documentary on his hobby on their channel (English & Hindi) in 1999.

Apart from the above, Najeeb is involved in social and charitable activities. Though he is not a member connected with any political or social organizations, his work is purely independent.Najeeb was also awarded "Seva Ratna Award" by Chennai Social and Cultural Academy for stopping criminalization of education in a Chennai school in the year 2000.

As a student, Najeeb had understood the individual's responsibility towards the society and on numerous occasions, contributed his personal savings towards Kargil funds and for floods victims through the Chief Minister Fund.

Born and brought up in Chennai in 1977, his family comprise of his beloved parents, siblings, his wife and daughter. Recently there was an addition to his family with the marriage of one of his brother. After completing his Masters, in 2001, he moved to Kuwait where he stayed for 10 years working with financial institutions and banks.

 In Kuwait, he met the Governor of Farwaniya Lt. Gen. Abdulhameed Al-Hajii and various diplomats. In Oct 2011, he moved to Qatar to take up his new assignment with Qatar International Islamic Bank. His zeal in pursuing his activities still continues and we wish him good luck in all his endeavours.
