Nothing splendid has ever been achieved except by those who dared believe that something inside of them was superior to circumstance. The confidence in himself, hard work and determination has made Mr. Tanveer M. Faiz to reach the goal in his life!

“I would have been unknown to this world if I don’t have confidence in myself. I have walked through thorns and bushes in the past years.” says Mr. Faiz who is the Assistant Manager at Kuwait Finance House.

Faiz hails from Chennai. His father  Faiz Mohamed is a retired Senior Accountant in Postal Audit Department, Govt. of India. He was also an International Hockey umpire. His mother is an housewife.

Faiz after his schooling from Madrasa Azam, Chennai did his B.Com in New College. Financial stress started rolling his family during that time and there came a situation where he had to share the family burden along with his father.

Faiz migrated to Kuwait and started the job as a typist in a small company during 1991.  Unfortunately, he could not continue there for more than a month due to some unforeseen reasons.  During this difficult period,  Faiz had a determine to stay back in Kuwait due to overcome the financial stress. He was prepared to take up any job for survival. During this period, he joined Mansalwa restaurant as a cleaner. The owner of the restaurant  
Mr. Munibullah Khan was not aware at that time that Faiz was a graduate.

Faiz was very dutiful, hardworking employee and soon he impressed his boss for his sincerity and honesty. During the Iraq war calamities,  Faiz stayed back in Kuwait and helped his boss to the fullest extent in providing logistics support and transferring funds to safe location. Mr. Khan appreciated his sincerity and gifted him KD 200/- as token of appreciation.

Even though this was an unexpected gift, it was a timely help for his life. Mr. Khan also suggested and helped Faiz in looking for a proper day time job based on his qualification so that he can work in the restaurant at evenings. The positive recommendation through the boss made Tanveer getting employment in Kuwait House Finance as a clerk. Till today he considers this incidence as a most precious moment in his life and even  now  he recollects Mr. Khan’s affection towards him.

In 2004, Faiz moved to Kuwait International Bank as Supervisor Treasury Operations.   In 2007, he was called back by KFH and he continued to grow with the same institution.

Challenged work pressure, focused ambition made Tanveer’s career a joyful journey. The lesson from his past molded him as a self determined person to face any challenge in his life. Whenever he loses his temper, he tries to overcome the situation with his sharp analysis and discussions.

He has represented KFH Cricket team and still he is a part of his team it was his passion from his childhood.

He is happily married to Sameena, a Maths graduate, hailing from Visharam. She is a passionate teacher in Jabria Indian School, Kuwait. Her sources of encouragement and motivation lifted her husband’s spirit in difficult days. The couple are blessed with daughters, Rubeena, Safa and also a son Yousuf. They are the students of Indian Community School, Khaitan Branch.

Faiz proudly says that it is entirely due to the blessing and prayers of his beloved parents, he has been able to achieve all this in his life.

The family contributes a fair service to the society whenever possible.

Faiz is an active partner in Anjappar Chettinad Restaurant, Kuwait. His childhood friend, Mr. Mohammed Arif made him partner in this business. Within short period of time the restaurant has gained good reputation among the people which is encouraging them to open another branch soon.
