The ministry added that the sirens will be activated periodically at the beginning of each month at 10:00 am, as part of regular procedures to test technical readiness and verify the efficiency of the alarm system.

The ministry stressed that the exercise is purely precautionary and forms part of its ongoing efforts to maintain a high level of preparedness in emergency response systems.

The Ministry of Interior has announced that it will conduct a trial run of sirens on Monday, January 19, 2026, at 10:00 am.

The citizens and residents have been urged not to be alarmed, as the procedure is part of a routine technical test to ensure the effectiveness of preventive measures and to enhance public safety across all areas of the country.
