GIS MARKS ‘A SCORE AND ONE!’

Gulf Indian School celebrated its 21st Foundation Day with elegance and zest.  The occasion was graced by His Excellency Mr. Sunil Jain, Ambassador of India to Kuwait, Mrs. Gargi Jain, heads of various schools in Kuwait, parents and well wishers. 

The Chief Guest H.E. Mr. Sunil Jain in his speech advised the students to ‘dream big’ and also reminded them that they have to put in their best efforts to realize the dreams.  ‘Dreaming without action will be futile’, he added.

A slideshow highlighting the activities and achievements of the academic year 2013-2014 was the highpoint of the programme.  H.E.Mr. Sunil Jain, Ambassador and Mrs. Gargi Jain the Guest of Honour presented certificates and cash awards to high achievers in scholastic and co-scholastic fields.  The coveted Best House trophy was won by the Seva House.

The programme unveiled breathtaking music and dance celebrating ‘Seasons’.  The evening culminated with ‘The Tale of Count Dracula’ which became phenomenal for its perfect stage setting, background score and excellent dramatics.
