Greeting Card Competition At ICSK Junior
ICSK JUNIOR CONDUCTS SUPW ACTIVITIES FOR CLASS 1 TO 5
On Monday 28th and 29th September 2015, students of class 1 to V were engaged with well planned SUPW activities.
Children of Classes 1 and 2 enjoyed making greeting cards as part of their activity. The students used their creative skills and imagination to make cards on various festivals, family functions, national festivals and other occasions.
In continuation to the SUPW sewing classes, wonderful opportunity was given to children of class 3, 4 and 5 to learn chain stitch. Sewing not only provides a creative outlet; it develops motor skills and manual dexterity giving children a valuable skill that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.
To overcome any kind of stage fear, children were exposed to the activity of public speaking. The extempore topic given to class 3 was ‘How you spent your Eid break’. Public speaking activity for classes 4 and 5 - ‘Pick and Speak’ was also conducted. The response of participants was overwhelming.
