PAC ART FESTS CLOSING CEREMONY ICSK KHAITAN

The Indian Community School Kuwait Khaitan branch held the ICSK PAC Arts Fest in November and the curtains for the same drew with a grand closing ceremony. The Arts Fest witnessed prize winning performances in various categories. There were speeches, dances, group songs and recitations from different categories of children. The prizes and certificates for the winners were awarded. The invited and the in-house judges were felicitated.
The Honorary Secretary to the Board of Trustees Mr. Vijay Karayil presided over the ceremony and Parent Representative to the BOT Mr. Nizar K.V., Arts Fest Convener Mr. Suresh Mathur, 40 PAC convener Mr. Mathew George and all the other Parent Representatives graced the occasion. Mr. Karayil, in his presidential speech, emphasized the importance of music and dance and all other fine arts in a student’s life. He further added that it is not enough that the children get high marks in the examinations; they should also enjoy their time in school and have memories to cherish their school life. He reminded the parents to understand and appreciate the teachers who play an important role in their children’s life. The Principal Mr. K.G. Shirsath welcomed the gathering while Mr. Nissar proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Reyana Mahesh the fest convener of the PAC Khaitan branch ably hosted the programme.
