IISM CELEBRATES 68^th REPUBLIC DAY

National festivals stir a sense of pride and set the mood for celebration. India, with its diversity joins hands to bring out its best on these occasions. One such humble attempt was made by India International School Mangaf on the eve of 68th Republic Day.

The tiny tots of Kindergarten, clad in tricolor and soldiers’ attire rendered patriotic songs eulogizing the great soldiers who sacrificed their lives for our mother country. The whole event in the Kindergarten section was organized under the guidance of the section Head, Mrs. Nilofer Qazi.

 A special assembly was organised by I and II graders with much patriotic fervour wherein students sang and danced to the tune of 'Maa thuje salaam', 'Vandemaataram' and 'Desh mere rangila’ against saffron, white and green backdrop. The speech delivered highlighted the importance of the Indian constitution. Dressed in tricolor, with flag colored fans in hands, the students cheered the ongoing performances. The ambience echoed the pitch of nationalism.

In this regard, Fancy Dress Competition was organized for class II, and an Interclass Collage Competition, depicting national symbols of India, was conducted for grades III to V. The mighty effort which was put up by students and teachers alike was appreciated by the School Director, Mr. Malayil Moosa Koya, Principal, Mr. F.M.Basheer Ahmed, Sr. Vice Principal, Mrs. Narinder Kaur and the Vice Principals, Mr. Saleem, Mrs. Sophy John and Mrs. Indulekha Suresh.
