CHANGING THE LIVES OF PEOPLE IS OUR DREAM

The Indian Community School Senior takes pride not only in academic success, but also in creating a school ethos with relationships and community at its heart. As part of this, the students have been making voluntary donations through our novel charity programme for the past 3 years. The students whole-heartedly contribute on their own and this fund is distributed to the ones suffering from serious ailments on a monthly basis. This is done to instill a sense of empathy in the hearts and minds of the students.

   17 September 2018, ICSK Senior witnessed a blessed day as the hearts of four special people were filled with happiness. Under the leadership of Dr V. Binumon, the Principal, a substantial amount was collected and monetary aid was presented to Mrs. Shyni Abraham, Mrs. Christina Cayavo, Mr. Kafoor Sahib Shiek and Mr. Sreeamalu Sunkara. Dr. V. Binumon also appreciated the efforts of the students of ICSK Senior and encouraged all to contribute actively and willingly as charity should come from the heart.

    ‘Giving is not just about making a donation; it is about making a difference.’ It was also decided that special funds will be collected as part of the Relief Fund Collection Week in order to lend our helping hands to those who are adversely affected by the recent flood that washed away the homes and dreams of many in Kerala.
