FAIPS – DPS SWEEPS THE KUWAIT QUIZ SCENE

FAIPS-DPS students continued their winning spree in the 22nd Kitco Interschool Quiz Contest organized by BCS on 14^th Sept 2018 at American International School, Maidan Hawally bagging The Winners Trophy for the 5^th consecutive year. Mr. Jaladhi Mukherjee, Second Secretary and Head of Chancery and Chief Public Information Officer, Indian Embassy graced the occasion.

FAIPS-DPS had actually shown their might in the Preliminary round held on 13th Sept 2018 at Salmiya Indian Model School. 11 schools with 21 teams participated in the Preliminary Round from which only 6 schools qualified for the finals. Though both the teams from DPS topped the list with 24 and 21 points respectively, Team B comprising Aditi Kashyap and Savitri Bindu could not be selected for the final round as only one team per school could participate.

The momentous victory earned the school the glittering and prestigious Winners trophy.

Another new event was introduced this year by BCS during the Quiz Finals The Cheerleaders Contest. The FAIPS team of cheerleaders dressed in colourful attire with pompoms and placards motivated their team throughout by shouting slogans in different languages.
