ICSK AMMAN HOLDS ARTS FEST ‘AURA 2018’ AWARD CEREMONY
The Indian Community School, Kuwait – Amman, organized the award ceremony of the Arts Fest, AURA 2018 on Saturday 29th September, 2018. The prize distribution ceremony of Aura 2018, filled with music and gorgeous dances from the creative and artistic firmaments of ICSK Amman was a delightful experience for the parents and students.
The event was graced by the presence of Honourable Chief Guest, Mr. Yashwant Chatpalliwar, Second Secretary & Consular from the Embassy of India, Kuwait along with the guests of honour Mr. A Amer Mohammed (Hon. Secretary, ICSK Board of Trustees), Mr. Vinukumar Nair (Hon. Vice Chairman), Mr. Agnello Fernandes (Hon. Joint Secretary), Dr. V Binumon (Principal & Senior Administrator) and Mr. Deepak Seth (HR and Administrative Officer).
Principal ICSK Amman, Mr. Rajesh Nair extended a warm welcome to the distinguished guests, parents and participants who attended the function. Chief Guest Mr. Yashwant Chatpalliwar in his address appreciated and congratulated all the prize winners and participants. He expressed his joy to be a part of the programme.
An impressive video on the highlights of Aura 2018 was presented during the programme.
AURA – 2018 provided a platform to showcase the artistic talents and creativity of students and transformed them into ambitious artists. 306 prize winners were awarded for their achievements in various selected competitions.
The Chief Guest awarded the prestigious ‘Kalathilak’ and ‘Kalapratibha’ titles, trophies and certificates to the winners in all the five categories and the Best House trophy was bagged by the ‘Winners House’ for securing maximum points in various competitions.
As a token of gratitude and appreciation from ICSK Amman, a memento was presented to the Chief Guest. Vote of thanks was proposed by Vice Principal, Dr. Mary Isaac which marked the closure of the formal phase of the function.
The second phase of the function constituted prize distribution along with music and dance performances which mesmerized the audience. The highlight of the day was the Hat Parade when the tiny tots walked the ramp adorned in exquisite hats. Dance performances by the teachers added charm to the programme. The rapturous applause of the audience, acknowledging the talents of the winners filled the venue with vibrant energy.
The persistent and sincere efforts of the co-ordinators Mrs. Mobina Siju and Mrs. Vinitha Pratish, the cooperation of the entire staff along with the overwhelming support of the parents and well wishers took Aura to the zenith of success.
The second phase of the programme was anchored by the Radio Jockeys (RJ’s) of ‘Radio Amman’, the prestigious radio channel of ICSK Amman,
The delightful evening came to an end leaving the essence of memories of Aura 2018 staying forever, strictly adhering to the tagline ‘Strengthen the Aura around you’.
