ICSK Junior Conducts Impressive VALEDICTORY CEREMONY

The more you praise and celebrate your life,

The more there is in life to celebrate.

A glittering valedictory ceremony was held in ICSK Junior on 29^th September 2018 to celebrate the winners of Pearls Art fest competitions. The weeklong array of cultural and literary competitions saw more than 5000 participations from the enthusiastic students who painted, sang, danced, and wrote as means of self-expression. Art fest is a wonderful opportunity provided by ICSK that gives supportive and encouraging environment for all-round development of students.

The gala event began on a solemn note with the Islamic prayer. The traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, a classical invocation dance and an invocation song set with pulsating music gave the event an auspicious beginning.

The chief guest of the function was Mr. Subramanian V.V.  Vice President- Business Integration KDD. The eminent guest list included Mr. Amer Mohammed, Hon. Secretary to the BOT, Mr. S. Raju Hon treasurer to the BOT, Dr. V. Binumon Sr Administrator & Principal ICSK Senior, special invitees Mrs. Neomi Paxa and Mrs. Jyne.

 In her welcome address, Principal Mrs. Sherly Dennis lauded the efforts of the students and parents alike for this enormous response to the art fest and reiterated that every participant was a winner as they had learnt to overcome their hurdles and learnt some skill or value in the process.

The excited winners along with their proud parents received their trophies and the certificates of merit during the prize distribution.

The event was interspersed with the performances of the students who excelled during the art fest thus bringing a glimpse of the treasure of talent that is present in ICSK Junior. The audience were held spell bound by melodious songs, soulful poem renditions, interesting speeches and spectacular dances.

The students who excelled in each category were awarded with the titles Kalathilak and Kalapratibha trophies and certificates. The chief guest Mr. Subramanian VV, in his address congratulated the students and the school for the success of the event and urged the parents to insist on participation in art and cultural activities from early age. This will help the student in future. He or she may choose to pursue any field, the creative ways of expression is a requirement everywhere be it science, technology or commerce,

The Vice Principal Mrs. Sheeja .C in her vote of thanks, acknowledged the efforts of management, the teachers, support staff, parents, students and all those who made this great event a success.
