ICSK KHAITAN INTEGRATES ACCA IN CLASS 11-12 CURRICULUM

icsk KhaitanWidening the horizon of Higher Secondary education, offering innovative courses with better and challenging dodge for students to encounter the need of the time, ICSK Khaitan launched Class 11 Commerce Stream integrated with ACCA (first time in the history of CBSE schools) and Class 11 science stream, on Tuesday, 9th April 2018. The school had successfully commenced 11th Science Stream with various optional subjects in April 2017, and now turned out to be a full-fledged school ranging from KG to class 12.

icsk KhaitanThe auspicious inaugural ceremony began with the recital of verses from Holy Quran followed by the National anthems of India and Kuwait. Lighting of the lamp marked the inception of the new educational scheme in the presence of the Chief Guest, Mrs. Ratna Kishore, Examination Services Manager, British Council, Guest of Honour, Mr.S.N.Raju, Honorary Treasurer to the BOT, ICSK, Special guest of the Day, Mr.Anjum Mazood, Principal, International School of Pakistan, Mr.Aqeel Ahmed Khan and Mrs.Shafqat Hussain Naaz, the experienced instructors for ACCA.

DSC 1141Principal Mr. K G Shirsath, cordially welcomed the guests, parents and students to the inaugural ceremony and spoke about the facilities arranged by the school and the special features of ACCA which provides tremendous and challenging opportunities in the field of Accounting. Through an informative presentation on ACCA, Mr. Aqeel Ahmed Khan and Mrs.Shafqat Hussain Naaz illustriously elucidated to parents and students the advantages of the course and how it will mould and guide the students to emerge in the future to encounter successfully the rat race to get aspiring jobs.

DSC 0891Mrs. Ratna Kishore, the chief guest of the day, well asserted the vitality and opportunities offered by ACCA in the current job market and reminded the students that great things never comes from comfort zones. The guest of honour of the day, Mr. S.N.Raju, in his address to the gathering, explained prospects of ACCA to the students and urged them to achieve greater goals. Vice Principal, Mr. Ravi Ayanoli described the options of various class XI streams with evaluation details and the course planning through a power point presentation to warm up the students before the outset of their journey towards higher education. The invocation dance and motivational song presented by students made the occasion vibrant and exhilarating. Mr. Manish, the assigned co-ordinator teacher of the ACCA batch, brought down the curtain of the inaugural function filling all hearts with a gesture of gratitude.
