Diwali celebrationDiwali celebrationThe celebration of Diwali the “Festival of Lights” came alive at KIPS on 7th November, 2018. The entire Pre School wore a festive look with Diya’s and lanterns adorning the corridors and the assembly hall in bright colours. The rangoli done by the teachers added the perfect setting to the festivity. School Director of IIS (M) who graced the occasion lit the lamp to begin the assembly on this auspicious occasion. Sir, wished the children Good Luck and Happy Diwali and asked them to share the happiness with people who are not so fortunate, which is the true essence of such a festival.

The students showcased the spirit of Diwali through a mesmerizing dance performance. The Song “-dhadak chik dhum dhadkan bole” brought out the essence of the festival – Celebration of life and goodness. Students talked about the significance of the festival “How Good always conquered the Evil and also about why and how Diwali is celebrated across India and also around the world in such an exuberant manner.”

The teachers sensitized the students to the ill-effects of crackers and also shared the guidelines on being safe while bursting them. The assembly concluded with the Principal Mrs.Nilofar Qazi and Vice Principal Mrs.Gayathri Bhaskaran giving away the message of a clean peaceful and a bright Diwali.
