IES triumphs in Al Mulla Exchange Calendar 2020 Painting Contest
Al Mulla Exchange, the leading money remittance company in Kuwait, conducted a calendar painting competition on 1st November 2019 at ICSK Senior School, Salmiya, for young, talented artists in Kuwait. Around 180 students from 60 schools showcased their talents. Among the shortlisted twelve pictures, which depicted the country’s culture and tradition, two were painted by the brilliant artists of grade 7 of Indian Education School, Fida Ancy and Mridula Pallissery Ravindran.
The prizes were announced and awarded on December 16, 2019, in the school assembly by Mr. John Simon, Group Manager-Marketing, Al Mulla Group, along with Mr. Basil Varkey, Marketing Executive Al Mulla Group. Winners were awarded KD 100, a certificate and a memento each. Mr. T. Premkumar, Principal of IES, the Vice Principals and the Art teachers felicitated the winners.
