National Day and Liberation Day Celebrations at India International School Mangaf

Fantabulous February awaited with an array of fascinating performances by the junior and senior section of IISM on 23rd  and 24th of February to mark the 59th National and Liberation day celebrations of Kuwait .Gripped  with the spirit of patriotism and to express their love towards the foster country -Kuwait ,the celebrations were carried out enthusiastically with great pomp and gaiety. Decorations began ahead of the festivity to adorn the corridors and walls with ostentatious colour coordinated Kuwait flag balloons and festoons.

The programme was graced by the presence of School Director, Malayil Moosa Koya, Principal In charge - Sophy John, Vice Principals Mr. Saleem and Mrs. Indulekha , Head Mistress - Sridevi and the Examination Head- Shabana Faisal.

The remarkable day was highlighted with the special assembly and cultural activities to enhance the festive spirit among the students. Informative speeches to mark the significance of the day were delivered eloquently to enlighten the students. Unfurling the history of Kuwait and how the country got liberated was instilled among the students to get acquainted with the rich culture and tradition of Kuwait. To foster the spirit of Indo-Kuwait culture, group songs and dances were performed by the students. The whole school reverberated with music and fascinating performances to express their joy. Simultaneously, the spirit was equally exhibited by the teachers as well. Awe-inspiring dances by the teachers along with the students were performed to display the zeal and enthusiasm. Students and teachers clad in Kuwait flag dress amazingly added to the glory of the celebrations. 

Principal In charge - Sophy John addressed the gathering. On the momentous occasion, she expressed her gratitude and respect by saluting to all the stalwarts, who made Kuwait stand high and gave this wonderful platform. On behalf of the management staff and students, she extended her warm wishes.

Vibrant celebrations were concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. Savitha.
