453A9217‘GYANDEEP’ the splendacious and opulent annual day cum graduation ceremony of IES Kindergarten took place with great festive and vigor on February 16, 2023 in the school campus. The staff and the students were keen and focused to make the event, which was truly a celebration of knowledge, a memorable one amidst their hectic academic and co- curricular schedules. The beams of laughter, fruits of hard work and deserving appreciation were the outcome of the most awaited big day. The shining faces of the tiny tots illuminated aura and festive outlook of all the participants added joy and cheer in the minds of the participants.

The evening started with lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the honorable guest Mrs. Rajini Menon, KG supervisor Smart Indian School and Jack & Jill, accompanied by the school Principal Mr. T. Premkumar, Mrs. Muneera Mammikutty (Headmistress), and Vice Principals, Mrs. Meenakshi Nayyar and Mr. Binoy Mathew. Bhavan Vani- KG Annual report 2023 was presented by the Headmistress and the young reporters of Kindergarten highlighting the laurels and accolades garnered by the amazing KG students for their excellence in both academic and co- curricular activities. It was followed by the vibrant prayer dance and welcome dance displayed by the amazing students with the finest coordination of dance steps and breathtaking moves.

The cultural extravaganza, ‘Gyandeep’ was an extraordinary depiction of various dance in many forms. The students walked with ‘diyas’ in hand and spoke about their dreams in the traditional convocation gowns and caps. Their smiling faces were welcomed by rapturous applause from the audience as received the scrolls of merit on the stage. It was indeed a heartwarming sight for the parents to watch their angels grow into butterflies ready to flit into the sky yonder.  Chief guest-Mrs. Rajini Menon spoke about the current need of parent teacher involvement for the effective development of the generation today which no longer is bound to the limitations of a conformist economy.

 An overview of the ceremony was a testimony to the epideictic conception of Bhavans IES in creating the future world citizens by instilling non cognitive, interpersonal, and sophisticated skills into our children with education being the most powerful weapon. Thus, the graduation day for kindergarteners ended triumphantly imparting the message: ‘Knowledge is love, light and vision’.
