It is a tradition of India International School to celebrate Founders Day every year on April 4th to pay tribute to the visionary leadership and unwavering dedication of our founder chairman, the late P. A. Ibrahim, and our Director, Malayil Moosa Koya. This occasion provides us with an opportunity to reflect on our school's history and achievements and to renew our commitment to the values and principles that guide us."
This year, we marked the completion of our school's remarkable 21-year journey by celebrating Founders Day, ‘Ghabga’ with great enthusiasm and pride. The event was a commemoration of the vision and dedication of our founders and a recognition of the contributions made by all our stakeholders since our inception in 2002.
The programme was graced by the presence of esteemed guest Salman Ibrahim, Managing Director, PACE Group of Institutions, Guest Speaker, Abdulla Hassan, Guest of Honour Asha Sharma, Principal, Indian Learners Own Academy, Special Guest, Fayis Ashraf Ali, Founder Principal, Anees Ahmed, Director Malayil Moosa Koya, Principal, K. V. Indulekha, Vice- Principal, Saleem Kundungal and other key functionaries of the School.
After invoking the blessings of the Almighty, our esteemed guest Salman Ibrahim, warmly welcomed the August gathering with a heartfelt speech. He acknowledged the contributions of our school's founder chairman, the late P. A. Ibrahim, and the support of our school’s sponsor the late Yousef Hashem Ahmed Al -Refai and expressed his gratitude to our beloved Director Malayil Moosa Koya for his sincere contributions towards the school’s success. During his speech, he expressed his congratulations to the entire team for their unwavering efforts in achieving the milestone of 21 years of dedicated service. He emphasized the significance of education in moulding future generations and lauded our school's unwavering commitment to providing a stimulating and nurturing learning atmosphere for all students.
Following the warm welcome, our esteemed Guest Speaker Abdullah Hassan CO. Founder and CEO of VC Fund UK/USA and a Public Speaker, delivered an insightful PPT presentation on the importance of Ramadan, its message of peace, compassion, and self-reflection. With vivid images and profound commentary, he highlighted the spiritual and cultural significance of the holy month of Ramadan and encouraged everyone to read the Holy Quran with its meaning. The presentation was well-received by the audience, who appreciated the depth and clarity of his message. They were inspired by his words and expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to learn from such a knowledgeable and compassionate speaker. As a token of love and appreciation Director, Malayil Moosa Koya presented Mr. Abdullah Hassan with a memento.
Guest of Honour, Asha Sharma delivered a special message expressing her appreciation on the significance of the occasion during the blessed month of Ramadan and congratulated the Management and staff for the successful completion of 21 glorious years. Message by special guest, Fayis Ashraf Ali left a profound impact on the audience, inspiring them to strive for excellence with perseverance and determination in achieving one’s goals.
As customary, the momentous occasion concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by the Vice-Principal Saleem Kundungal expressing his gratitude in acknowledging the contributions of all the stakeholders in the continuous growth and achievements of the school. The memorable moments of the occasion were savoured and enjoyed over a delicious dinner.
