7 Gold Medals and a Silver for the Ace Swimmer of Indian Education School, Bhavans Kuwait at Palakkad Junior Swimming Championship.
The Palakkad District Sub Junior & Junior Aquatic Championship for boys and girls recently concluded at HSS PARLI on the 8th and 9th of July 2023, leaving a lasting impression portraying young swimming talents. Master Pradwid Krishna of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Indian Education School Kuwait, made an indelible mark on the competition through his exemplary performance.
The ace swimmer of IES exhibited exceptional swimming prowess, competing in a variety of challenging events, including the 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle, 50m butterfly, 100m butterfly, 200m butterfly, 4x100 freestyle relay, 4x200 freestyle relay, and 4x100 medley relay. Displaying remarkable determination and skill, he emerged victorious in all the events he participated securing a remarkable tally of seven gold medals and one silver medal.
Pradwid Krishna's versatility in the pool was further demonstrated in the 200m butterfly event, where he won a silver medal, underscoring his ability to excel in different disciplines.
The outstanding achievements of Master Pradwid Krishna did not go unnoticed by the distinguished members of Indian Education School Kuwait. Mr. N K Ramachandran, Chairman of Bhavans Middle East, C A Sooraj Ramachandran, Vice-Chairman of Bhavans Middle East, C A Divya Rajesh Ramachandran, Director of Bhavans Middle East, Mr. T. Premkumar, Principal of IES and Dr. S Murugaiyan, Head of the Physical Education Department, extended their heartfelt congratulations to him for his stellar performance. They also expressed their appreciation for the tremendous efforts put forth by Ms. Bhagya Shekar, the swimming coach from IES Kuwait, in nurturing and guiding Master Pradwid Krishna's talents.
