Universal Children’s Day celebrations at SIS
Childhood is one of the most cherished chapters of anyone's life. Each day is about a fresh adventure filled with joy, newness, and endless possibilities. Universal Children's Day is celebrated annually on November 20th. Its goal is to improve child welfare worldwide. Bhavans Smart Indian School, Kuwait celebrated Universal Children’s Day on 20th November, 2023 at our school campus.
On this special day, kids were permitted to wear colour dresses to school. The day began with a positive atmosphere where Prabhath Aravind of grade 5 Taurus was awarded the title ‘Whiz Kid 2023-2024’ by the Principal, Mr. Mahesh Iyer in the morning assembly. Students from Grades 1 to 11 had different activities on this special day. Grades 1–5 had games, talent show, and other fun activities whereas grades 6–11 were engaged in different games with the help of the P.E teachers.
Universal Children’s Day aims to raise awareness on the importance of protecting the welfare of children, advocating their rights, and making their voices heard. On this day, children of SIS enjoyed it a lot.
