ICSK KHAITAN CONTINUES ITS SAGA OF ACCA SUCCESS
Yet again, it’s a proud moment for ICSK Khaitan to celebrate its ACCA success story! The integrated ACCA education implemented with grade XI-XII Commerce since 2017 has matured and reached to its excellence with an incredible achievement as two more students, Ms. Megha Johnson and Ms. Afreen Ara, have joined the ‘Roll of Honours’ by completing their ACCA qualification and becoming the ACCA Affiliates.
Standing for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, ACCA is a globally recognized professional accountancy body from the UK that provides qualifications and advance standards in accountancy worldwide. It’s a highly skill based professional education in the accounting field and highly respected globally for the bright career prospect. There is a huge demand of ACCA qualified personnel in the job market of audit, banking, accounting and the management.
Knowing such a demand of time, the ICSK Management decided to integrate the ACCA qualification with Commerce curriculum and open an opportunity to its students to enable them stand on their own feet in the shortest span of time. The ACCA classes are included in the regular school schedule of the students during their orderly XI-XII commerce studies. The students are also given extra coaching on Saturdays.
The ACCA qualification not just helps young students prepare for any financial or managerial aspect of a business, but also prepares them to work for renowned organizations efficiently as qualified and valued professionals. Students joining as early as in grade XI are able to achieve the progress of their ACCA journey in a fast-track mode by completing their fundamental papers well before their grade XII board exams and gain a Diploma in Accounting and Business from the ACCA. This Diploma also enables students to seek job after class XII while they continue pursuing their further qualification of ACCA. Devoting their full time after class XII, many students are able to achieve the feat of completing all ACCA Exams in two to three years of time and get absorbed in elite international audit and accounting firms. Additionally, they are also able to get B.Sc. and M.Sc. In Applied Accountancy from Oxford Brooks University and London University as regular degrees on completion of nine and thirteen papers respectively. Many of our students, including Megha, have attained this just within two years after their grade XII and found attractive opportunities to settle in Kuwait without a need to leave the country after their class XII! Hence, it is a perfect route for the aspiring accountants to establish themselves in the quickest and smartest manner. ICSK Khaitan is an accredited ‘on demand’ computer-based exam centre for the prestigious ACCA program.
The students and parents have thanked the ICSK Management and the ACCA mentors Mr. Aqeel and Ms. Shafqat for creating this avenue to their students while the mentors and the management congratulated the students and appreciated their parents for their support to this endeavour of the school.
