Bhavans Cambridge Wing organises a Career Guidance session for its grades 9 & 10 students and parents

Bhavans Cambridge wing with the purpose of disseminating academic knowledge and enlightening young minds in their decision-making phase of choosing the right career initiated an informative career guidance session on the 10^th of February 2024 at SIS Hall. The session was ably guided by the Vice Principal Ms. Bhavitha Bright under the leadership of the school Chairman Mr. Ramachandran Menon, Principal Mr. Mahesh Iyer, Administrative Manger Ms. Amira Bendary. The Program Coordinated by the school Counselor Ms. Anju Jacob was led by the team of academic experts from IDP-Kuwait.

The session commenced with a Welcome note by Ms. Beyatris Raju, IGCSE teacher, followed by a detailed presentation by Ms. Saima, IDP academic expert. In her presentation she motivated the listeners with an affirmative quote on how education serves as the passport to the future, she also urged the students to harness the power to accomplish their academic dreams wisely in an informed manner. Further she touched upon points relevant for Cambridge International AS & A Level and how it plays a pivotal role in developing the learner’s knowledge, understanding & skill. Ms. Saima elucidated the time required for AS & A level, expected exam, grades & results. Moreover, subject selection criteria that would assure future career prospects was discussed. In the session, the students and parents were enlightened with the different subject combination and scope abroad.

Finally in the Q& A session, the queries raised by the parents were succinctly answered by Ms. Sujatha Vora- IDP academic expert. She also assured academic guidance at any time for any of their queries in the future. The informative session concluded with a satisfactory gesture from the parents who appreciated the effort of the school in organising a session for the students to understand and make wise decisions for their bright future.
