Indian Education School Shines at Sastra Prathibha Contest 2023-24
Indian Education School (IES) in Kuwait has once again demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence and scientific inquiry by excelling at the Sastra Prathibha Contest (SPC) 2023-24. Organized by the Science International Forum (SIF), Kuwait, the SPC is an inter-school science talent search contest that attracts a large number of participants each year.
The 9th edition of the contest, held recently, has witnessed a remarkable turnout from IES, with 454 students participating in the first level examination on November 2, 2023. The participants included 60 students from Grade 4, 65 from Grade 5, 56 from Grade 6, 61 from Grade 7, 73 from Grade 8, 96 from Grade 9, and 43 students from Grade 10. After a rigorous selection process, 23 students from IES were selected to advance to the second level examination, which took place on January 12, 2024.
IES takes pride in announcing Aditya Arun Kartha of Grade 9 and Manha Anees Shina of Grade 10 as the Sastra Prathiba title winners in their respective grades. Their commitment and hard work have brought laurels to IES and reaffirmed its position as a beacon of knowledge and learning. In addition to the individual achievements, IES has also secured the title of the best-performing school at the contest. The school is also honored with the prestigious 'Acharya J.C. Bose Sastra Puraskar', a testament to its overall performance and dedication to science education.
The Sastra Prathibha Contest not only provides a platform for healthy competition but also encourages students to explore the wonders of science and technology.
