Teachers’ day Assembly Report
To honour the selfless service of teachers, a special assembly was held to recognize the dedication and guidance of the teaching staff at the Indian School of Excellence.
The assembly began with an Islamic prayer, followed by a prayer song performed by the school choir, expressing gratitude. The event continued with a captivating skit titled "Everyone and Everything is a Teacher," where mime and dance were used to depict life lessons inspired by nature. A speech on the theme of "Wisdom" followed, accompanied by performances that included the song "Shukriya" (Thank You), an action song, a humorous skit, "Superheroes of the Classroom," which appreciated and celebrated the special bond between teachers and students.
The celebration concluded with students presenting appreciation cards to their teachers. Mrs. Sherly Dennis, Director of ISEK, addressed the gathering and expressed her appreciation for all the teachers. She also thanked each child for making the teachers feel special, helping the teachers realize the role of educators. She emphasized that students are teachers’ responsibility and it is through their growth and learning, educators find their purpose.
The assembly was a reflection of students' deep appreciation for their teachers and honouring their dedication to shaping young minds.
