The Indian Community School Kuwait Junior School celebrated Teachers’ Day with traditional gaiety, pomp and grandeur. A spectacular ceremony was conducted to honour teachers for their commitment to empowering the young generation with the required skills and knowledge.
Principal ICSK Junior, Mrs. C. Sheeja, lauded teachers for their righteousness and relentless effort in enlightening students in their journey to success. She complimented teachers for their selfless service and the significant role played by them in building character and values among students.
The day came alive with vibrant energy and heartfelt gratitude as students and teachers came together to celebrate Teachers' Day. Special assemblies were conducted in which students paid glowing tributes to their mentors for their guidance and support.
The day’s proceedings began with the recitation of the verses from the Holy Quran along with the prayer song. It was followed by a meaningful thought for the day that created a warm and solemn atmosphere.
The celebration was marked by a variety of engaging and creative events, making the day a memorable one for both students and teachers. The event continued with a series of cultural programs presented by the students to express their appreciation for their beloved teachers. Performances included songs, dances, and skits, all dedicated to celebrating the spirit of teaching and learning. The audience witnessed a placard display, where students expressed their wishes and gratitude in writing.
The students’ performances were met with applause, reflecting the deep bond between students and teachers. Furthermore, the students expressed their gratitude to teachers by delivering heartwarming speeches.
As a token of love and reverence, the kids presented greeting cards, and bouquets to their teachers. The day mirrored the abundance of affection that students hold for their teachers.
