COMQUEST 2024: A CELEBRATION OF COMMERCE AND LEADERSHIP
The Indian Community School, Kuwait (ICSK) organized Comquest-2024- a two-day inter-branch commerce fete on the 9th and 10th of September,2024. The event, aimed at nurturing future business leaders, included a variety of engaging activities designed to foster a professional mindset among aspiring commerce students. Key highlights included a business quiz, leadership awards, motivational talks, and an Ad-Mad show. Additionally, entrepreneurial skills were put to the test with culinary stalls under the "Learn to Earn" initiative, offering hands-on experience and financial lessons.
Day 1: September 9th
The event began with an inspiring inauguration by Haider Loka, Co-founder and CEO of Burhantech-Kuwait, a successful entrepreneur. Following this, Business Buzzer, a fast-paced quiz, took center stage. The team of Zayan Mohammed and Tiara D’Cruz from ICSK Khaitan claimed first place, while Amruta and Ibrahim from ICSK Senior secured the second position.
Class 12 students managed food stalls, where they invested personal funds, calculated risks, and earned profits, gaining practical entrepreneurial insights. The day concluded with a thought-provoking session led by Mr. Krishna Hari, Director of Sales and HR at Atco Technologies, where students gained valuable professional wisdom.
Day 2: September 10th
Day two kicked off with the Ad-Mad Show, which focused on promoting health and fitness products through creative advertisements. Students from classes 9 and 10 showcased their innovative thinking and communication skills. Team ICSK Amman won the first and the third positions, while ICSK Senior secured the second place.
The festival’s highlight was THE TITAN 2K24, a prestigious leadership award. In this high-stakes competition, participants faced a series of challenging rounds, presenting innovative ideas and enduring rigorous questioning by an expert panel. After a fierce competition, Mohammed Yousuf Khan from ICSK Khaitan emerged victorious, earning the title of THE TITAN 2K24 amid thunderous applause.
Comquest-2024 was a resounding success, cultivating entrepreneurial skills, enhancing leadership qualities, and providing hands-on learning experiences for all participants. It was a celebration of commerce, creativity, and leadership, leaving students with invaluable lessons and memories. Dr. V. Binumon, Principal of ICSK Senior and Senior Administrator, praised both the students and the Department of Commerce for organizing such an innovative program on leadership. The event concluded with the principal awarding certificates and trophies to the winners, recognizing their outstanding achievements.
