Hindi Divas Celebrated with Enthusiasm at ICSK Junior

ICSK Junior celebrated "Hindi Diwas" with great vigour and enthusiasm, honouring Hindi as one of India's official languages and raising awareness about its importance. The event, marked by a special assembly, aimed to encourage students to engage in activities centered around the Hindi language, fostering a deeper appreciation for their mother tongue.
The program began with a warm welcome, followed by an Islamic prayer and a heartfelt rendition of the prayer song "Yeh Mat Kaho Khuda Se Meri Mushkilein Badi Hain." The entire assembly was conducted fluently in Hindi, with students confidently delivering speeches that were highly informative, shedding light on various facts about the national language.
One of the key highlights of the event was the address by the Principal of ICSK Junior, Mrs. C. Sheeja, who impressed the audience by delivering her speech in Hindi. Her confident use of the language and the interactive questions she posed to students, made them very happy. Mrs. Sheeja also commended the students and teachers for their exceptional efforts in organizing the assembly.
The program featured a variety of events, captivating the audience with a mix of cultural and educational performances. A thought-provoking skit emphasized the importance of learning one’s mother tongue, while a grand display of placards featured the Hindi "Swarnmala" (alphabet), idioms, slogans, and the teachings (dohe) of Sant Kabirdas and Rahim . A fashion show showcasing traditional attire and dances from various states added a vibrant touch to the celebration.
The audience was treated to a medley of songs, electrifying dance performances, and a poem recitation that stirred deep emotions among many present. The students' colourful costumes and energetic performances further enhanced the atmosphere, as they conveyed the message, "Hindi hamaari shaan hai; desh ka abhimaan hai" ("Hindi is our pride; the nation's honour").
The event successfully instilled a sense of pride in the Hindi language, encouraging students to embrace it without hesitation. It beautifully illustrated that love for one's language and nation can be expressed regardless of geographical boundaries.
