Smart Indian School Hosts Informative Career Council Session on Chartered Accountancy
The Executive Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Kuwait Chapter (ICAIKC) on Saturday, 26 October 2024 conducted a successful career counselling session focused on the prestigious Chartered Accountancy (CA) course at Smart Indian School for students of Classes 10th,11th & 12th. The event aimed to provide students with valuable insights into the CA profession, its career prospects, and the steps involved in pursuing this rigorous yet rewarding qualification.
The session began with an inspiring message from School Principal Mr. Mahesh Iyer and followed by opening remarks from CA Aditya Dhanuka, the Chairperson of ICAI Kuwait Chapter.
The session featured CA Sriram, the past Chairperson of ICAI Kuwait Chapter and a renowned CA professional with extensive experience in Audit & Advisory. He shared insightful information on the diverse roles and responsibilities of Chartered Accountants, using a captivating story about launching a company to highlight the crucial role CA professionals play at each stage of company formation and even thereafter in various business activities.
CA Sriram also highlighted the importance CA professional certifications in Indian economy as well as the vital contribution of Indian CAs in various countries across the world.

Following CA Sriram’s engaging presentation, CA Kaizar Shakir, past Chairperson of ICAI Kuwait Chapter & Chairperson of IBPC Kuwait shared his inspiring career experiences and personal anecdotes with the young students.
Subsequently during the Q&A session, CA Anet Wilson recent qualified student from Kuwait shared practical tips on the examination perspective.
The session attended by large audience along with several committee member of ICAI, Kuwait Chapter. CA Rohit Agarwal, CA Firoz Ali, CA Venkata Raman, CA Kriti Buchasia, CA Ketan Puri, CA Andaleeb, the executive member of ICAI Kuwait Chapter was instrumental in organizing this entire session in coordination with management of Smart Indian School.
