Clay Modelling Competition at Bhavans JnJ and SIS Kindergarten
"Art is not what you see, but what you make others see."
Clay modelling is an art form that encourages creativity and helps develop motor skills. On 13th November 2024, Bhavans Smart Indian School and Jack and Jill Pre-School Kuwait, organised a clay modelling competition for the kindergarten students.
The young UKG, LKG, and Pre-KG artists unleashed their imaginations as they worked with colourful clay dough. The UKG children crafted beautiful flowers, showcasing intricate details and vibrant colours. Meanwhile, the LKG students moulded healthy and junk food items, demonstrating their understanding of nutrition through creative expression. The Pre-KG students impressed the audience with their talent in shaping various insects, bringing their tiny creations to life with delicate touches.
The sight of the little ones, joyfully engaged in pounding, squeezing, and rolling the clay, was a heartwarming spectacle. The messy tables, scattered with rolling pins, moulds, and clay dough, were a testament to their enthusiasm and focus. Each child took great care in perfecting their models, and the results were nothing short of impressive.
The judges, faced with the challenge of selecting winners, found it incredibly difficult to choose among such remarkable creations. In the eyes of the teachers, however, every participant was a winner, having displayed extraordinary creativity, concentration, and effort.
It was truly a day of fun, learning, and artistic expression for the children, and an event that highlighted the boundless potential of young minds when allowed to explore and create.
