Kindergarten Sports Day Funathon 2024
On Saturday, 23rd November 2024 Bhavans Smart Indian School Kindergarten and Jack and Jill Pre School celebrated Funathon with Funfair, which was a day packed with joy, energy, and unforgettable moments. Children, parents, and teachers came together to celebrate sportsmanship, creativity, and fun, making the event a huge success.
The day began with an adorable welcome ceremony led by the children themselves. Dressed in colorful outfits, the little ones greeted the chief guest with flowers and a cheerful welcome dance that charmed everyone present. The chief guest delivered a short, encouraging speech, highlighting the importance of physical activity and teamwork.
This was followed by a lively march-past, children holding their team flags high, setting the stage for an exciting day ahead.
Before the sports activities kicked off, the children presented vibrant performances. The UKG children performed a lively dance which ignited up the stage. The LKG children performed an energetic and well-organized drill.
Few events were conducted for Pre KG, LKG and UKG:
- Cherry Picking: The participants showcased their quickness and focus by running to collect bright, colorful balls in their baskets. Their enthusiasm and determination stole the show.
- Running Race: A simple and energetic event the running race saw the little ones’ energy to the finish line, cheered on by parents and friends.
- Cap the Cone: A fun and engaging game where children ran to place caps on cups. It combined focus, speed, and excitement.
- Hurdle Race: UKG kids showed their athletic spirit by skillfully jumping over mini hurdles and dashing toward the finish line.
In addition to these events, a few events for the parents also were conducted, where parents enthusiastically participated.
After the sports events concluded, families moved on to the funfair. The funfair added a magical touch to the day:
- Carnival Games: Ring toss, darts, bindi sticking car race, stack the cup for prizes kept the children engaged.
- Face Painting and caricature: Children painted their faces with favorite cartoon characters. A professional artist sketched personalized portraits.
- Mini Rides and Bouncy Castles: These were the highlights of endless fun and laughter.
The food stall offered a variety of snacks including popcorn, fries, samosas, mini pizza and burgers.
FUNATHON was a day to remember. It was all about creating memories, celebrating the children’s efforts.
