ISEK Celebrates Its 1st Annual Day with Enthusiasm and Grandeur
The Indian School of Excellence Kuwait (ISEK) marked a historic milestone as it celebrated its highly anticipated First Annual Day, themed Pratidhwani – a Sanskrit term meaning “echo.” The event, held on December 21st, was centered around the theme “Today’s Responsibility, Echoes of Tomorrow,” highlighting the profound impact of our present actions on the future.
The celebration was graced by distinguished dignitaries, including the Chief Guest, Mr. Luka Shiukashvili, First Secretary at the Embassy of Georgia in Kuwait. His presence added prestige to the occasion, and his speech inspired the audience with powerful insights on responsibility and innovation.
The evening began with prayers and the national anthems of Kuwait and India, followed by a soulful Welcome Song and Invocation Dance, setting a reflective and celebratory tone. The thematic performances that followed were nothing short of captivating. Each act transported the audience through significant moments in human history — from the dawn of civilization to the rise of empires, industrialization, and visions of the future. With each performance, the students underscored the theme, demonstrating how human choices throughout history have shaped, and will continue to shape, our world.
In the Annual School Report, Director Mrs. Sherly Dennis reflected on ISEK’s remarkable achievements over the year and shared the school’s vision for the future. She emphasized the institution's commitment to academic excellence and holistic student development, reaffirming the school’s dedication to producing responsible, innovative leaders for tomorrow.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Luka Shiukashvili, in his inspiring address, encouraged the students to embrace the responsibility they hold in shaping the future. His words resonated deeply with the audience, urging them to be bold in their pursuit of innovation and progress.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Vice Principal Mrs. Bismitha Shamsudden, who extended her gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the event a grand success.
As the evening came to a close, parents and dignitaries rose in unison for a standing ovation, moved by the remarkable performances and the collective effort that went into bringing Pratidhwani to life. A behind-the-scenes video showcased the immense dedication and teamwork that made the day truly memorable.
Pratidhwani resonated with all who attended, leaving an enduring message of hope, unity, and responsibility. The event not only celebrated the school’s achievements but also served as a reminder that today’s choices are the seeds of tomorrow’s success. The echoes of the evening continue to inspire the ISEK community as they move forward with confidence, responsibility, and a vision for a brighter future.
