BSK Family Sports Meet 2025

DSC 7331 11zon Billava Sangha Kuwait Family Sports Meet was held on Friday, 28^th February 2025 at Fintas Park, Kuwait with Billavas getting together in large numbers. The weather was pleasant and gave an extra boost to the enthusiasm of the members who participated in the games.

The opening ceremony commenced with Guru Shloka and ribbon cutting by President Mr. Amarnath Suvarna in the presence of Honorary Adviser Mr. Chitrek Bangera, Sports Secretary Mr. Anish Kotian, Vice-President Mr. Suresh Kunder, General Secretary Mr. Prashanth Poojary and all BSK members.

President Mr. Amarnath Suvarna in his speech welcomed all the members and urged them to actively participate in the sports event. Honorary Adviser Mr. Chitrek Bangera, Sports Secretary Mr. Anish Kotian and General Secretary Mr. Prashanth Poojary in their welcome speech conveyed their best wishes to all the participants.

The sports day had fun elements for every age group. The tiny tots 2 - 4 Years age group, enjoyed their game of balancing the cup on the plate and running race, while the bigger children 4 - 8 Years age group, played balloon balancing and balance the book, 8 - 12 years children played cup on the straw and kick and place the ball, while 12 and teenager played ring in the wicket and bottle race. Children Group played Tug of War.

Ladies participated in hawa hawa race and shot put. Ladies Group participated in Throw Ball and Tug of War.

Gents participated in bottle balancing and Shot put. Gents Group played Volleyball and Tug of War.

The couples played and enjoyed the water balloon throw game and balloon walk.

The event was beautifully Hosted by Mahesh Poojary Polali.

The trophies and medals for the event was sponsored by Mr. Raghu C. Poojary. Other Sponsors for the event were by BSK Members Mr. Chitrek Bangera, Mr. Jagadish Suvarna, Mr. Ghanshyam Attavar, Mr. Praveen Shama Poojary & Mrs. Shwetha Praveen and Mr. Kiran Raj.

The committee briefed the gathering about BSK’s participation in Scholarship program in coordination with Guru Charitable Trust, its intention to continue and urged everyone to contribute for the noble cause.

M/s Shangrila caterings arranged the tasty lunch.

The unity of the committee members and active participation of the BSK members eventually led to the success of the family picnic. Yet another memorable event was concluded on a very happy note with prize distributions to the winners.
