ISEK Hosts Enlightening Anti-Tobacco Seminar
Indian School of Excellence, Kuwait, organized an impactful seminar on April 16, 2025, for students of Grades 6 to 10 on the theme “Smoking and Vaping: Stop Before You Start.” The session aimed to spread awareness about the grave health risks associated with tobacco use and vaping, while empowering students to make informed lifestyle choices.
Mrs. Sherly Dennis,Director of Indian School of Excellence, welcomed the guest and emphasized the importance of early awareness and healthy living, thanked and appreciated Indian Doctor’s Forum(IDF) for their initiative to bring awareness among the students of Indian School of Excellence.
Dr. Mohammad Quaderi, a renowned Pediatric Nephrologist at Mubarak Al Kabeer Hospital, was the guest speaker. Through his insightful and powerful address, Dr. Mohammad Quaderi highlighted the dangers of nicotine addiction, its long-term health consequences, and shared practical strategies for prevention and cessation. His message resonated strongly with the young audience, inspiring them to lead a tobacco-free life.
The sesssion concluded with students taking a pledge to say no to smoking and vaping, reaffirming ISEK’s commitment to nurturing responsible and health-conscious individuals.
