Indian School of Excellence Hosts Class 1 Parent Orientation for the Academic Year 2025–26

Class 1 2The Indian School of Excellence hosted a warm and engaging Parent Orientation Programme for Grade 1 parents on April 16, 2025. The event marked the beginning of an exciting academic journey and reinforced the vital partnership between parents and the school. The evening commenced with a soulful Islamic prayer, setting a respectful and reflective tone for the programme.

An inspiring address by the Director, Mrs. Sherly Dennis, outlined key academic updates, including new subjects, a three-term system, and a revised marking scheme. She highlighted various clubs and co-curricular activities, addressed parental concerns with empathy, and shared valuable insights on effective parenting and student motivation—earning warm appreciation from the audience.

A key component of the orientation was the briefing of the features of the school’s Digital Learning Suite (DLS), presented by the IT Coordinator. The session showcased advanced tools aimed at enriching the learning experience and facilitating effective communication between parents and teachers.

The Vice-Principal, Mrs. Bismitha Shamsudeen, concluded the event with a gracious vote of thanks, expressing deep gratitude to the parents for their presence, the staff for their dedication, and the school leadership for their unwavering support in making the evening a meaningful and successful one.

With clear communication, visionary leadership, and active parental involvement, the Indian School of Excellence looks forward to a year filled with growth, learning, and shared accomplishments.
