The Indian School of Excellence resonated with inspiration and enthusiasm as it hosted two vibrant academic assemblies on 21st April, 2025 under the theme "UMANG – The Impactful". The assemblies were conducted by the students of Grade V Blue, V Green, and Grade X Blue, showcasing the school’s philosophy of creating ripples of change through meaningful actions.
The day commenced with a serene note of Islamic prayer followed by a melodious prayer song, setting a reflective tone. The traditional lighting of the lamp symbolized a new beginning, followed by an empowering address by Mrs. Sherly Dennis, Director of Indian School of Excellence, advised the students to believe in the power of small actions to bring about lasting change.
The Chief Guest of the assembly, Dr. Sajna Mohammed, a renowned Dermatologist and Cosmetologist in Kuwait, was felicitated with a memento in appreciation of her inspiring presence and words.
The assemblies featured a rich array of performances — including welcome songs, speech on the theme impactful, a thought-provoking skit, fashion show, and high-energy dance sequences and choral recitation “The Echoes We Leave” which conveyed how kindness, courage, and compassion can leave lasting impressions.
Performances by the students added depth to the theme, reinforcing how impactful actions can span across all age groups.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks and the Indian National Anthem, leaving the audience inspired to be the agents of positive change.
