The Gulf Indian School campus ignited with the vibrant spectacle of La Fiesta Carnivibe 2025 on 24 April — a day where rippling joy and harmonious melodies painted a vivid tapestry of celebration. The atmosphere buzzed with infectious laughter, melodious tunes, and an array of spirited activities that seamlessly brought participants together. This exuberant occasion fostered an undeniable sense of community, etching itself into the memories of all as a truly unforgettable experience.
The celebration commenced with a warm and eloquent welcome, followed by the gracious introduction of the distinguished Special Guest, Dr. Nithu Ann George, MBBS, MD — a renowned Paediatrician at Al-Jaber Hospital and a proud alumna of Gulf Indian School. Her presence added prestige to the occasion and evoked a deep sense of pride and connection within the school community. The ceremonial inauguration was presided over by the esteemed Principal, Dr. Prashant Vasudev, alongside the Core Leadership Team of GIS, setting a tone of elegance, significance, and unity for the celebrations.
The Principal, Dr Prashant Vasudev, in his address, extended his sincere appreciation to all contributors and participants, encouraging them to embrace the spirit of celebration and revel in the joyous experiences the day had to offer. This was followed by the much-anticipated unveiling of the third edition of Verve, Gulf Indian School’s very own E-Newsletter — a vibrant digital chronicle weaving together cherished memories, significant milestones, and magical moments that have defined GIS's journey over the past year. Adding an unexpected touch of vibrancy to the event, a surprise flash mob took centre stage, captivating the audience with its synchronised energy and spirited choreography.
The carnival pulsed with a kaleidoscope of happiness, every corner resonating with vibrant laughter and fun, crafting an atmosphere of pure joy. The DJ drew in energetic dancers to lively rhythms, while the ice cream stall offered a delightful, cool respite on the summery day.The bouncy slide proved an irresistible haven for younger children, their faces beaming with unrestrained glee. Classrooms transformed into treasure troves of creativity, hosting unique game stalls and enticing goodies, inviting students to explore, engage and indulge. The auditorium's food court presented a delectable array of culinary delights, satisfying every palate. A wave of excitement surged as a spirited game of bingo commenced, drawing students from every class, the thrilling prospect of winning exciting prizes amplifying the lively atmosphere.
