ICSK Khaitan Unleashes a New Wave in Agriculture with Best Social Impact Award at INJAZ National Company Competition
In a bold leap towards redefining the future of sustainable agriculture, the students of ICSK Khaitan made history at the INJAZ Kuwait National Company Program Competition 2025, claiming the prestigious Best Social Impact Award and earning their place among Kuwait’s Top 3 Student Companies. This new wave of purpose-driven innovation had a name — RenoWave, ICSK Khaitan’s very own student-born company.
The Company Program, organized by INJAZ Kuwait, a member of JA Worldwide, one of the world’s largest youth entrepreneurship networks, began in November and guided the team through a journey of building a business from the ground up. Under the mentorship of Mr. Tanveer, Mrs. Shafqat and Mrs. Pratibha the RenoWave team ideated, developed, and launched a solution designed to create real impact in the agriculture sector.
The company’s flagship product, AgroSense, a solar-powered smart system designed to automate irrigation, fertigation, and pH control, was first envisioned by Dhruv Deepu of class XII, the team’s COO and Product Development Director, as a school project for ICSK Khaitan’s annual science exhibition, K-RAYS. With collective effort, months of testing, and strong mentorship, the concept transformed into a full-fledged solution with the potential to revolutionize farming practices across the region.
AgroSense was designed to tackle inefficiencies in modern agriculture. It stood out as a powerful blend of sustainability and innovation, being affordable, scalable, and built to solve real-world farming challenges. To enhance usability, the team also developed their own app using Blynk IoT to provide real-time control and monitoring, alongside a dedicated website, renowave.co, which showcased their product and vision. On the marketing front, the team actively promoted RenoWave through their official Instagram page, @renowave.official, helping build visibility and awareness.
Leading the company was the team of students comprising from class IX to XII comprising Tevin Joe Thomas (CEO), Dhruv Deepu (COO and Product Development Director), Sheza Siraj (CFO), Anugraha Susan Varghese (Project Manager), Ayman Muhammed (Sales Director), Dev Dharshan (Marketing Director), and Ann Treesa Tony (HR Manager). Supporting them were their dedicated teammates: Ann Mariam, Diya Meharin, Tia Thomas, Titus Abraham, Kriti, Krupa Maria, Sadia Juweria, Maryam Shaik, and Madhav Prasanth, each contributing significantly to product development, booth design, outreach, and execution.
On April 25th and 26th at AUM Kuwait, RenoWave competed against 17 other high school companies. Their visually striking trade fair booth became a highlight of the event which drew significant attention, with a steady stream of visitors expressing strong interest in AgroSense.
The business pitch presentation was delivered with clarity, confidence, and conviction. Judges and professionals from firms such as Gulf Bank, Alghanim Industries, Zain, Nestlé, 10X Advertising, IKEA, and Al-Tijariya praised the team’s product knowledge, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
Their final panel interview solidified their standing, as the team demonstrated strategic thinking, deep technical understanding, and real-world impact. AgroSense not only captured attention, it generated genuine investor interest, with several attendees expressing interest in supporting or partnering to develop the solution further.
As the event came to a close, INJAZ Kuwait presented the team with a custom company flag, which RenoWave proudly carried into a packed auditorium filled with cheering families, mentors, and school leaders. The announcement of their Best Social Impact Award, sponsored by Alghanim Industries, and their placement among Kuwait’s Top 3 Companies, was a moment of pride and validation when it was one of only three companies nominated for the Best Company Award.
In the end, RenoWave didn’t just win awards — they created a legacy. The team became the undeniable talk of the event, as even INJAZ staff expressed amazement at the depth and quality of their work. Rival teams cheered them on and chanted "RenoWave" during the closing ceremony, a moment that perfectly captured the spirit of support, impact, and respect they had earned. For a team participating in a national entrepreneurship competition for the first time, ICSK Khaitan didn’t just participate, they made history. And with AgroSense at the forefront, this wave of innovation is only just beginning.
