The school’s students delivered a stellar performance at Kuwait’s First National Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Championship, hosted by the Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST) in May 2025, with IGCSE student Bashaar Sufiyan Shaikh earning the honor of representing Kuwait at the MOS World Championship in the USA.

The prestigious national competition saw the participation of 141 students from 40 schools and universities across Kuwait, making it a highly competitive platform for demonstrating digital proficiency.

FAIPS takes immense pride in announcing that Bashaar Sufiyan Shaikh of IGCSE (YEAR 11) emerged as the regional winner of the MOS Excel Examination in Kuwait. For this national achievement, he was awarded a cash prize of KD 500, along with a certificate and a memento.

As a result of this achievement, Bashaar earned the honor of representing Kuwait at the MOS World Championship held in Orlando, USA, in July 2025. His participation on behalf of Kuwait stands as a remarkable accomplishment and a proud moment for both FAIPS and the nation.

FAIPS also celebrated several other notable achievements at the national championship:

  • Mohammad Moeen (Cambridge AS Level) secured 3rd place in the MOS Excel examination, winning a KD 200 cash prize.
  • Alvin Roy of CBSE Class 12 achieved 4th place in the MOS PowerPoint category.
  • In the MOS Word category, Radhika Srinivasan and Husain Shikari of IGCSE Year 2 secured 5th and 7th positions respectively.

In a collective triumph, all five FAIPS students who participated in the competition ranked in the Top 10 nationally — a testament to the school’s commitment to excellence in digital skills and its holistic approach to student development. Each participant was also awarded a Certificate of Achievement in recognition of their exceptional performance.

FAIPS Principal, Mr. Ravi Ayanoli, congratulated the students on their outstanding achievements and lauded GUST’s initiative for encouraging students to develop essential, globally relevant ICT skills. He described the championship as an inspiring platform that motivates young minds to pursue excellence in digital literacy and innovation.

FAIPS celebrates this proud milestone, honoring its students for their hard work, determination, and ability to shine on both national and international platforms, while also commending the relentless dedication, passion, and guidance of its teachers, whose constant support continues to inspire students to aim higher and achieve excellence.
