“Excellence Through Perseverance”: Grand Valedictory of the Bhavans Cambridge Interschool Swimming Competition 2026 at Smart Indian School

DSC 001Smart Indian School proudly hosted the Grand Valedictory Ceremony of the Bhavans Cambridge Interschool Swimming Competition 2026 on 17th February 2026 at the SIS auditorium. The event marked the award ceremony, celebrating the successful conclusion of a highly competitive and exhilarating swimming competition. The event was graciously supported by the esteemed sponsor, Mr. Ali Judyan Al Beghaili, whose encouragement and contributions have been instrumental in the school’s growth and success. The ceremony was honored by the presence of Mr. Yousef Ali Judyan Al-Rasheedi and meticulously organized under the visionary leadership of Chairman Mr. N. K. Ramachandran Menon. Principal Ms. Bhavitha Bright and Administrative Manager Ms. Amira Bendary ensured its seamless execution, reflecting the school’s steadfast commitment to holistic development and excellence in sports. Their dedication exemplified leadership, collaboration, and meticulous planning.

Representatives from Indian Educational School, including Head of Department Mr. Murugaiyan and the Physical Education faculty, were warmly welcomed, alongside Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Sedik, Head of Physical Education at Smart Indian School, and Ms. Ms. Sara Shawki from their Physical Education department, as well as other swimming coaches from 11 Cambridge schools across Kuwait. The ceremony began with the stirring notes of the Kuwait National Anthem, followed by a solemn recitation from the Holy Quran, setting a respectful and inspiring tone for the event. The occasion featured a vibrant welcome dance by Smart Indian School students and a captivating video montage showcasing the most memorable moments of the competition. From record-breaking swims and thrilling relay races to heartwarming displays of sportsmanship, the montage celebrated the passion, perseverance, and dedication of all participants. In her address, Principal Ms. Bhavitha Bright lauded the participants for their resilience, dedication, and commitment. She also recognized the tireless efforts of coaches and mentors, whose guidance enabled students to reach peak performance and experience the rewards of competitive swimming. Awards were presented across all swimming categories, including Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly, and Relay events, with age and gender divisions ensuring fair recognition. The ceremony also included special recognitions for outstanding performances, teamwork, and fair play, emphasizing that sportsmanship is as important as athletic achievement. The event concluded with a ceremonial honoring of all participants, coaches, and schools, celebrating their dedication, perseverance, and passion for swimming. The successful execution of the competition reinforced Smart Indian School’s commitment to nurturing talent, promoting holistic development, and inspiring young athletes to strive for excellence through perseverance.
