ISEK Resumes ‘Meet the Professional’ Series Offline with Veteran Journalist Mr. Sajeev K. Peter
The Indian School of Excellence, Kuwait (ISEK), organized the fourth session of its highly acclaimed ‘Meet the Professional’ series on September 22, 2026, for students of Grades 7 to 10. The session marked a vibrant return to offline school activities following the summer break. As the first physical session of the academic year, it brought a renewed energy to the campus and provided students with an invaluable opportunity to interact with a distinguished professional in person.
The session featured Mr. Sajeev K. Peter, a veteran journalist with decades of experience in the Gulf media industry and an association with leading publications, including the Kuwait Times. He offered students valuable insights into the dynamic world of journalism, covering news-reporting techniques, career pathways in print, digital, and broadcast media, and the challenges and responsibilities associated with the profession.
The atmosphere became particularly lively during an engaging ‘Spot the Mistake’ segment, where students put their critical-thinking and editorial skills to the test. Mr. Peter actively interacted with the enthusiastic audience, responding to a wide range of thought-provoking questions and sharing his perspectives on investigative reporting, journalistic ethics, and the power of impactful storytelling.
Dr. Sherly Dennis, Director of the Indian School of Excellence, Kuwait, expressed her gratitude and appreciation to the guest speaker by presenting him with a memento. She also encouraged students to develop a keen eye for truth, nurture their curiosity, and approach information with a questioning and discerning mind.
