Onion murukku
Ingredients
Rice flour 3.5 cup
Ground Tuar dhal 1 cup
Red onions ¼ cup
Salt
Chilly powder 1.5 teaspoon
Oil to fry
Sieve the rice flour and the ground tuar dhal. Add salt and chilly powder to it. Add also grinded red onions to the flour. Mix well adding hot oil to the flour. Knead it into a smooth dough by adding water little by little. Using a presser, press the murukku into heated oil and deep fry until crisp. Onion murukku is ready.
