Bread Pakoda


Ingredients

One-day-old bread- 3 loaves

Cooked corn - half cup

Potatoes - 3

Onion - 1

Green chillies - 2

Coriander leaves - half cup

Gram flour (besan) - 3 table spoons

Soda powder - one pinch

Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 teaspoon

Salt and oil

Method

Remove the sides of bread and cut into rather large pieces. Heat the oil and saute sliced onion and chillies. Add mashed potatoes and corn into this turn off heat.

Prepare a loose batter adding salt, chilli powder and salt into gram flour. Butter the bread pieces and place the vegetable mixture on one side. Dip the pieces in the batter and fry them till reddish brown.
