Vishu Special Vada
Ingredients

01. 1 cup, toor dal
02. 1 cup, urad dal
03. ¼ cup, raw rice
04. 8 green chillies, chopped
05. 1 piece ginger, chopped
06. 2 sprigs of curry leaves, chopped
07. Salt to taste
08. Oil for frying

Preparation

01. Soak the toor dal, urad dal and raw rice in water for four hours, then drain out the water and grind it coarsely.

02. Add the chopped green chillies, ginger, curry leaves and salt and mix it in well.  Now, shape the batter into the size of a large gooseberry on your palm and flatten it.

03. Deep fry each vada in hot coconut oil. Drain and serve hot.
