Innovative tablet for students launched
Hyderabad-based IT software start-up company App Thoughtz launched an innovative tablet ‘iTopper’ here on Monday.
The tablet which is basically a 7-inch tablet PC that works on Android operating system version 4.2.2, comes loaded with a host of features that suits Intermediate and plus two students.
Unveiling the product its Chief Operating Officer Raghunandan Gunnala said the tablet comes loaded with custom designed and visually appealing content for students in MPC and BiPC streams which will help them to develop deep insights into various subjects like mathematics, biology, physics and chemistry.
According to him the tablets come with bundle of inbuilt applications that not only enable students to access quality content from top publishers but also evaluate their won performance through self-test method.
“The content has been uploaded as per the course curriculum of CBSE and Intermediate Board, published by recognised publishers such as Cambridge University Press and VGS Publications,” he said.
In total about 16 textbooks covering mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology has been uploaded with extra study material, question and answers, test papers of IIT-JEE, EAMCET and NEET. The question bank contains over 65,000 questions, said Mr. Raghunandan.
The tablet has two variants catering to MPC and BiPC students separately.
As value addition the subjects also have audio-visual explanation and a separate zone called ‘Combat zone’ for students to compete online.
Priced at Rs.11,500, the tablet is wi-fi compatible and can by logged on to the Internet using a separate USB Dongle.
