Keralite Engineers’ Association Hosts Spectacular KFL 2026; White Mischief FC Clinch Championship in Thrilling Finale at Sabahiya

KFL PHOTOS 1 11zon 11zonThe Kuwait Football League (KFL) 2026, organized by the Keralite Engineers’ Association (KEA) for the alumni players of the Kuwait Engineers’ Forum (KEF), concluded in grand style at the Sabahiya Football Ground. The much-anticipated sporting event delivered a day packed with high-energy football, fierce competition, and an electrifying atmosphere that united the entire KEF community.

The tournament commenced at 9:00 AM, featuring intense encounters between seasoned campaigners and promising young talents. A total of 156 players took to the field across multiple categories, showcasing remarkable athleticism, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

In addition to the flagship KEA Football League (Season 12 – 18 & Above), the KEA Sports Team introduced 2 new categories this year: KEA Kids Football League (KKFL Season 1 – Under 15) and KEA Veterans Football League (KVFL Season 1 – 50 & Above)

The inclusion of junior and veteran categories transformed KFL 2026 into a true celebration of football across generations.

Spectators witnessed spectacular goals, powerful strikes, acrobatic scissor kicks, and breathtaking bicycle kicks, while match officials ensured fair and disciplined play throughout the tournament.

Regular Category – KFL Season 12 (18 & above)

Eight competitive teams battled for the prestigious KFL Title:

Blue Pulis, Decibelz SC, Kerala Tuskers, Mark Rangers FC, Nova Royals, Thiruvalla Reds, Venad Warriors & White Mischief FC.

In a gripping final, White Mischief FC emerged Champions after a commanding 3–0 victory over Venad Warriors. The high-intensity match kept spectators on edge until the final whistle, bringing Season 12 to a dramatic and memorable conclusion.

Results – Regular Category:

  • Champions: White Mischief FC
  • Runners-Up: Venad Warriors
  • Third Place: Blue Pulis

Kids Category – KKFL Season 1 (Under 15)

Four enthusiastic teams competed: Blue Pulis Jr., Mark Rangers FC Jr., Thiruvalla Reds Jr. & White Mischief FC Jr.

Results – Kids Category:

  • Champions: Mark Rangers FC Junior
  • Runners-Up: Blue Pulis Junior
  • Third Place: White Mischief FC Junior

Veterans Category – KVFL Season 1 (50 & Above)

Two veteran teams, Kerala Legends and Titans FC, demonstrated that passion for football transcends age. Both teams were declared Joint Winners, celebrating sportsmanship and camaraderie.

The Prize Distribution Ceremony honored outstanding individual performances. Awards were presented by KEF GC Mr. Ganga Prasad along with Alumni Presidents.

KKFL S1 (2026) Kids Category Awards:

  • Player of the Tournament: Stalin Seejo (White Mischief FC Jr.)
  • Finals – Player of the Match: Bhavath Krishna (Mark Rangers FC Jr.)
  • Best Goalkeeper: Bhavath Krishna (Mark Rangers FC Jr.)
  • Best Defender: Nathaniel Aby (White Mischief FC Jr.)
  • Best Midfielder: Sivathanu Sujith (Blue Pulis Jr.)
  • Best Forward: Rithvik Syam (Mark Rangers FC Jr.)

KVFL S1 (2026) Veterans Category Awards:

  • Player of the Tournament: Sanjay Nair (Kerala Legends)
  • Player of the Match: Ben Paul (Titans FC) & Sanjay Nair (Kerala Legends)
  • Best Goalkeeper: George Joseph (Kerala Legends)
  • Best Defender: Reji Philip (Titans FC)
  • Best Midfielder: Rino Roy (Titans FC)
  • Best Forward: Sanjay Nair (Kerala Legends)

The successful execution of KFL S12 & KVFL S1 2026 was made possible under the guidance of Event Commissioner: Pramod Kumar and Assistant Commissioner: Raja Rajesh, along with KKFL S1 Event Commissioner: Vinayan Pillai

The tournament was meticulously organized by KEA EC-28 Sports Secretary Ronnie Joseph and Joint Sports Secretary Nirmala James, with the strong support of KEA President Renji Varghese and the entire EC-28 team.

With momentum building and new categories introduced successfully, KFL promises to grow into one of the most anticipated sporting events within the KEF community in the years to come.
