“Chance favours only the prepared mind”, quotes Mr. Christopher Marshal.  An apt quote from the great scientist Louis Pasteur.  Mr. Christopher Marshal, himself a post-graduate in bio-chemistry, has never waited for opportunity to knock at his door but has always walked down the road of preparation to meet it!!

It is noticed that, even when a good opportunity presents itself, many see the problems and difficulties in the way of its achievement and hesitate to start.  “The secret of success lies in getting started; The beginning of any accomplishment is just the decision to try”, says Mr. Christopher Marshal.   

Starting a business venture in a foreign country and running it as a successful venture is a certainly a difficult task but Mr. Christopher Marshal decided to give it a try and is now the Managing Director of the well-reputed Genetrics company.  “Achievements come only when you succeed in doing difficult tasks”.

Mr. Christopher Marshalis a native of Coimbatore.  His father worked in ELGI (P) company. Mr. Christopher was brought up by his grand parents who implanted the fire in him to aspire for success and the power in him to pursue success till he achieves it.   He studied in St. Michael’s School and passed out as the class-topper.  He was deeply interested in science and joined PSG College to study Bio-Chemistry. After his graduation, he joined St. Joseph’s College, Trichy and completed his post-graduation in 1995.

He was recruited by Glaxo Company and worked with them for five years in Tamil Nadu and other south Indian states.  In addition to enriching his technical knowledge, he also gained valuable business insight and experience in the fields of Sales, Product supply and Business administration.  As can be expected of a go-getter, he got the star employee award for three years by virtue of his outstanding achievements for the company.  He was invited to become a part of their Head Office in Mumbai.

The year 2000 saw Mr. Christopher Marshal land in Kuwait.  He has had wide experience working as specialist in some of the reputed companies in the health care sector in Kuwait and has lobbied for many Indian institutions like Wipro, Apollo etc and has established their businesses in Kuwait. Once he decides to pursue an objective, there is no pausing on the way for Mr. Christopher Marshal.  Further, he lives by his favourite quotation about the need for preparation and does his homework and training before stepping into the ring.  “Intelligent planning, motivational strength to put in the necessary efforts and perseverance to overcome the hurdles in the way have been factors behind my success”, mentions Mr. Christopher in a modest way. 

In the year 2009, in association with many multinational companies he established a scientific company named as “Genetrics- Science beyond Borders” in Dubai to provide scientific solutions in areas of health care, education, life science, environment, security, forensic and community development programs for clients in the Middle East and North Africa.

Genetrics professionals provide their deep domain knowledge to solve critical problems of vital importance to the domestic market and the world. Their knowledge on products, technologies, implementation skills and understanding of the market place make them a dominant player in the domestic and international markets.

Having gone through many professional  trainings from leading principals in Healthcare and Life Sciences from different countries, Christopher is specialized in providing integrated approach in protecting public health and solutions for Human Identification program in cooperation with governments in locating and identifying those who have disappeared during armed conflict or as a result of human rights violations. His vision for the company is “Science beyond borders”.

Genetrics Company has a trading division and a technology division.  Under Mr. Christopher’s guidance, the company provides customised solutions to corporate clients looking for risk management/ crisis management / quality management and system integration services  for the healthcare and bio-tech aspects of businesses  “We focus on customer satisfaction;  This has enabled us to establish our reputation in Middle East and brings us continuous stream of business requests”. 

Bio-chemists are well versed in ‘Preparing’ and ‘Growing’ cultures.  With Mr. Christopher, ‘Preparing’ and ‘Growing’ in itself have become a personal culture!!!  He is intent on growing his Genetrics Company to become an international award winning company.  He has prepared well to succeed in this regard too.

Mr. Christopher Marshal, the man from Coimbatore, has shown that dreams can be achieved if you would wake up and start pursuing it vigorously. 

Mr. Christopher Marshalis a soft-spoken man with lots of patience to wait for his efforts to bear success.  His wife, Mrs. Christina Bindu, encourages him in his venture and adds colour to his life.  Hailing from Chennai, She did her schooling at Good Shepherd Matriculation and masters in social work (MSW) at Stella Maris College and completed her M. Phil in Women’s studies.

During her college days she was very active in NCC and represented the State at the Republic Day competition and won State level Gold Medal in First Aid. She was the best outgoing student and was the president of student forum. She has also presented paper on Alcoholism and its impact on women and children at the international Christian federation conference in Wales and also participated in the WHO conference –Chicago in 2001. She worked as project coordinator at Center for Development and Women’s Studies in Chennai.  After coming to Kuwait she worked at Ideal Education School for special Needs for 2years.

They are blessed with 2 lovely children Nikhil and Preethi who are studying at the Indian English Academy School (Don Bosco) in grade 5 and grade 1. 

Christopher enjoys music in his free time and his son who is a good dancer and has performed in many rograms has also won many competitions in Kuwait. Preethi shows keen interest in singing.

Christopher and his family are very much involved in social service activities and provide scholarship to deserving poor students through one of the churches in Chennai. They have also incepted a social organization named “Genetrics Foundation” to help the children in need of healthcare, education and cleaner environment.
